This is a great speaker. The headset cable is higher quality than standard. I have been unable to find this quality elsewhere and as such have stuck with these guys. I purchased one and liked it enough that I purchased a second. My friend who has a similar speaker (and had his headset break) liked the quality of this, and asked me who made it and ended up getting two of these headsets.

It comes with an integrated clip and an adjustable length neck strap. I've used the neck strap which works well. The batteries are rechargeable and easily last several hours of talking (on max volume) without a problem. I assume it would go a lot longer, but that is the time periods that I use them. The unit is very easy to charge - just plug it into the the power transformer that comes with it.

The sound is quite loud depending on what you are needing it for. Outside, as long as there isn't much other noise, I believe this reaches 50'-80' fairly comfortably. That is talking a little loud and having the mic right on my mouth. Inside, it sounds very loud. Overall the power is very reasonable, and while a little more would be nice at times, this has worked well.

Their customer service is exceptional: if you have a problem with your order, have NO doubt that it will be taken care of properly. I have worked with very, very few companies like this.

Very convenient and useful. Very easy to use. Sound fidelity is very good. Lightweight, easily hung around neck or on waist. Used for reunion of 150 people (in cut away workshops, and for acting in skits).

A thought, when leading a walking group, you can easily walk ahead, with it slung on neck or waist facing backwards towards audience, while you are pointing out and talking about features in front.

Weakness - the metal grommet rings for attaching strap to device is very weak and will easily stretch out of shape making it awkward to use later, and become more susceptible to coming loose.

I own an event company, and bought this for doing a wine tour, and for kids performer shows in a small room. I found that it really does have a good speaker, and is not sounding, however none of the people that used it would put the microphone close enough to their mouths to use it properly. Unless you have time and patience to show someone that they have to press the microphone to their lips, it is not useful. However if it is for you, and you're willing to put the microphone directly touching your lips, it works very well

You will not be disappointed. Bought this for a man whose voice has been compromised by throat cancer. Even though he can only whisper, his voice is audible and understandable at least 50-ft. away. The unit is sturdily-constructed and operates with ease. Just one rotary dial on top turns it on and off and adjusts volume. Came pre-charged so it was ready to go right out of the box. $39.95 was money very well-spent. Looks great and works great!

I own and have tried other brands that are 12 watt voice amplifiers. This Dimetech model claims to be 20 watts but it is not as loud as the 12 watt other brand that I own. I thought it would be worth a try since it was a lot cheaper. I wish I would have read the other reviews since I am not the only one to notice this. I am sure I would not have realized the sound was not 20 watts unless I would have tried the other brand. I consider that to be false advertising.

I thought maybe i was doing something wrong. The manual does not say much. So I went to their website they listed in the manual. There is nothing there about this product or any electronics. It was a weird website too. Either way it was no help to me.

I did not like the the nylon cable on the headset mic. It seemed pretty thin and i am not sure how long it will last.

The sound quality was not bad but my voice did seem fuzzy when when I talked. I tried the included patch cable to play music from my iPhone. The speaker does not sound that great when playing music. Plus it makes a popping noise with every bump of the cable at the speaker.

The battery life was about half of the claimed amount on the listing and the box.

My recommendation is to buy one of the other brands available on Amazon; spend the extra money, it's well worth it if you want a voice amplifier that works well. The dimetech seams like a cheap copy. That is why it is priced lower.

I am a teacher who needs the amplifier to deal with nodules on my vocal cords. The amplifier worked very well to start but stopped working last week. Rather, it still works, but only if I hold my thumb on the volume knob to keep it at its maximum. This is impossible to do, so the machine is now useless to me. It is now too late to return the product, as I have had it for two months (although I did not use it for three weeks due to winter break and a week of snow days), so now I need to buy a different one. This is very disappointing and it sets back my recovery.

I bought this amplifier for my disabled friend. As a result of a car accident some long time ago, he was left with partially paralysed vocal chords. It has allowed him to communicate with others, which has helped enormously. It simply fixes on a waistband and the wire can easily run under a sweater which totally cuts out feedback. This product is extremely reasonably priced and is so very user friendly, I recommend it totally.

Since writing this review, I found I needed to contact the seller over an issue regarding my friend's disability. I have been overwhelmed with their kindness and consideration in this matter and thoroughly recommend them to all. Use them you will not be disappointed.
